The Victory Compact binocular is equipped with phase-corrected roof prisms and dielectric mirror coatings. Ground to perfection, Schmidt-Pechan roof prisms maximize acuity and light throughput while eliminating aberrations and distortions. The lenses are also fully multicoated with Zeiss' legendary T* anti-reflective multicoating and LotuTec protective coating. T* multicoating increases light transmission while negating the negative effects of flare and glare. The LotuTec coating, meanwhile, helps the binocular excel in inclement weather. Like a lotus leaf, the LotuTec coating on the objective and ocular lenses repels water so efficiently that raindrops literally roll right off the glass. In addition, users can easily wipe the super-smooth lens surface clean of dirt and debris without smearing or damaging the optics.
